Safety Glass

Toughened Glass

This type of glass is 4 x the strength of ordinary glass of the same thickness and when accidental breakage occurs it breaks into small pieces that prevent serious harm from happening.  It is a requirement if used in doors to meet Australian Standards and can be used for splashbacks, frameless doors and balustrades.

Laminated Glass

This type of glass has an inner layer so when accidental breakage occurs the fragments of glass stick to this inner layer preventing the glass from falling out and therefore also protects people from being seriously injured. It can also provide some level of security as it is harder to break through.
